This is an old illustration, I shall admit, but a) I'm really busy at the moment, b) it fits perfectly and c) it been a while but I still really like this one. Plus it's probably new to most of you. ;)

This is a commission I actually started a while ago but but college and the like took over. The comissioner was incredible patient and over the Easter holidays I got these finished. They are a mixture of watercolour, collage and ink. I personally think she did an awesome job framing them.
Here's a card I made for one of my grandmothers. I painted butterflies with watercolours and white ink.
I bought my mum earrings and crumbly fudge and made two pies for dessert; an french style apple tart and a deep dish rhubarb and ginger pie.
I hope all the mums reading this had a lovely day today.
What's the best thing about today?
I'm pretty happy with how this drawing turned out. It's acrylic paint, brown pen, collage and a little white ink. Also I had porridge with fresh blueberries and stewed rhubarb for breakfast which was delicious.
I haven't one of these for ages; been far too busy but I really wanted to do this one. You can't see in the scan but in real life the dress has beautiful sparkly gold highlights. It's gorgeous paper and I was so excited to use it (thank you Alex!).
I love trapeze artists; possibly even more than I love tight rope walkers. This is actually part of a much bigger project I'm working on for my illustration class.
And yeah, the title is a The Postal Service reference.
I had a plain wooden bangle so it was enevitable that I would paint it. The design is cloud inspired and was painted with acrylic paint and a tiny size 00 brush. If you are thinking 'that must have taken ages' you would be right.
