I realised that if there was ever a time for me to update the shop, just before Christmas would be it.
I have new prints in a range of sizes and prices. Soon I will have Christmas cards and copies of Meow Magazine for sale as well. Watch this space. :)
Tomorrow, the 12th of July, if all things go to plan will be th grand re-opening of my shop, and I'm predicting that all the listings will be up between 10:00 am and 12:00 am GMT.
I have couple of introductory offers, just because I'm nice like that:
Order within the first 24 hours and pay nothing for shipping. Whatever and however much you buy pay nothing for postage if you place your order between the time the first listing goes up the same timethe next day (don't worry, I'll make a note of it).
Everyone who places an order within the first week of the reopening will be entered in a prize draw to win one of my hand drawn magnetic bookmarks. Nature of the draw will delay shipping, so if you would not like to be entered into prize draw just send me a message when you pay.
Here is a sneak peak of some of the stuff that'll be on sale tomorrow. It's a mixture of prints, stuffed things, originals and jewelery:
So, after the sucess of my russian doll collage I decided to make some more. First I made little stuffed ones with patterned fabric and hand painted faces.
Then I made some more collaged one which I backed with thick watercolour paper, laminated or vanished and turned into miniture art jewerly.I made most of them with sweet wrappers just because I love the bright colours and patterns. Most of these will be in the shop once it's re-stocked.
Just a little anoucement. You may have noticed (but probably haven't) that my etsy shop's been empty for quite a while now. That was of course due to my being very busy with end of year college stuff. For the past few weeks I've been making things and getting ready for a grand reopening. There will be an assortment of prints, originals, stuffed creatures, various bits and pieces, and of course, rabbits. Save your pennies in anticipation. :)
Despite the fact this is my most popular painting on Flickr, I was never mad keen on it, so I've redone it and made it available as print. I'm much happier with the new version personally, despite the fact I forgot to put the dog in.
I have lots of new stock, and if I do say so myself, my shop is looking rather pretty. I have some lovely postcard prints in my shop now and I have a load more I haven't listed yet so just let me know if you want see the rest.
I have also finally got some real prints done. I have one listed so far and I will be getting more done. If there is a piece of mine that you would like to buy as a print just let me know and I will do everything I can to make that happen. I also have a new photographic print in the shop.
Nice stuff that's not entirely worthy of it's own whole post:
I've finally gotten around to painting something new for my Etsy and I've used up the last of my stripey brown envelopes.
I love how wonderfully crispy autumn afternoons seem to be.
And finally, Sarah Yates is amazing photographer. I particularly love her portraits of dogs and children. And you may recognise her logo.
I hate seeing my little etsy shop empty so I've listed two new paintings. (Both now sold)
Editted to add: Ha! Tree House was on the front page of Etsy, but by the time decided to link it to here so you could all see it the website update and it was gone. You'll just have to take my word for it.
I also thought I'd have a go at selling print of my photos so I've listed two see how they
And here are the cards that my colaboration with Form&FunctionDesign produced.
Some of my illustrations are now for sale on cards produced by Form&FunctionDesign, and we've just made our first sale! I have provided the original artwork (some you may recognise and some you won't) and Form&Function Design made them into some really beautiful cards.
Or so it feels to me. A meager postcount of 8 for April seems to agree with me. To be honest I haven't felt much like blogging or anything else, but don't worry, I don't want to talk about it; that would be boring. I am however very sorry so neglecting your (my lovely neighbour's) blogs so much.
Sitting around doing nothing gets boring so I drew this. On sale on etsy here.
