So, in the post today I got 2 cds, a big box full of fabric from the lovely Lostie and a big envelope of beautiful paper from the lovely WorkingTitle. Lovely. I am already starting to make things in my sketch books with the paper.

Inspired by some work I did at the beginning of the year I have commission to create four new illustrations based on children's books. I didn't want to post the picture until the comissioner had receieved them, but now she has them so here they are.
I couldn't decide who should be eating such an obscene amount of ice cream (it is national ice cream month, don't you know?), so went for little girl and hairy monster because I'm fond of drawing both. You can decide which you prefer. These were done with acrylic paint, black ink and some brown pencil.

This evening I made some collages with circles of coloured paper from my horde. I cut the circles with a craft hole punch and just experimented with overlapping them.
]]>I'm pretty busy at the moment with commissions and sewing up rabbits ready for my shop re-opening, but I like to take time to do little things like this to stop mye going complete insane. The idea is pretty much stolen from Photojojo (oh, how I love thee), but I used doubled side sticky tape not glue because I'm cool like that. Expect more bathing beautings to come.

]]>Sourly eating sour cherry in a sour cherry tree, of course. Made with acrylic paint and cut up sweet wrappers on brown paper.
]]>It's been a while since I've painted a pair of converse, but I really do love it for some reason. I painted these for the lovely Examorata. She hasn't even got them yet but I couldn't resist sharing the pictures.
]]>So, after the sucess of my russian doll collage I decided to make some more. First I made little stuffed ones with patterned fabric and hand painted faces.
Then I made some more collaged one which I backed with thick watercolour paper, laminated or vanished and turned into miniture art jewerly.I made most of them with sweet wrappers just because I love the bright colours and patterns. Most of these will be in the shop once it's re-stocked.
